Machine Learning is the field of study that gives computers the capability to learn without being explicitly programmed. ML is one of the most exciting technologies that one would have ever come across. As it is evident from the name, it gives the computer that which makes it more similar to humans: The ability to learn. Machine learning is actively being used today, perhaps in many more places than one would expect.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions) and self-correction. Particular applications of AI include expert systems, speech recognition and machine vision.

Dr. R. Senthamarai, started her career in IT Industry. With tremendous passion for teaching and more for learning, she switched gears to enter into the academic stream of teaching. She has a solid experience of over two decades in Academics, Research and Training. She had held senior position as Head of the Department of a reputed University, for over a decade. Dr. Senthamarai has a successful track record as an academician/ researcher, having published several research papers in International, National Journals and Conferences, of repute. Dr. Senthamarai has assumed various responsibilities for the institutions she had worked including contribution to the conformation of Quality Standards such as ISO and NAAC. She has also involved in the institutional coordination and promotional exercise by effective use of her strength in interpersonal skills. Her contribution has also been in the Extension/Social Outreach activities of the Institution. Dr. Senthamarai believes in continuous upgradation of skills and knowledge. She now holds the position as Dean-Academics & Training, Institute of Analytics (USA)™ where her responsibilities include Academic Design, Delivery, Training and Administration in the field of Data Science/Big Data/Machine Learning/AI
